Budgetary Information
The Grants Administration Office within Texas Forest
Service administer grants – Federal, State and
Local – that
help to fund the operations of the Texas Forest Service.
This office assumes the role of liaison between project
personnel, administration, and the Federal, State, and
Local funding agencies. It is the responsibility of this
office to:
(a) Perform required reporting
(b) Review and route grant paperwork for approvals
(c) Maintain contract files
(d) Complete and submit reimbursement requests
(e) Monitor accounts for allowable expenditures
(f) Provide assistance to principal investigators
(g) Initiate budgeting and accounting entries in FAMIS
(h) Review grant expenditures, reports, etc. to ensure
compliance with applicable rules, regulations and laws.
